You should then proceed to travel to Asteroid X57 and begin the mission. To start the mission you need to have gone so far into the story as to be in control of the Normandy SR-1 and be able to dictate were you want to travel. If you did not get one or more of the weapon achievements yet, start a new game on Casual with your power character (from steps 2-5) and finish those off.
Same right before that and just reload the save after you hack them both. AI Hacking is the only one that has to be done on an enemy but it can be done very early against the turrets when you encounter Fist. Play until you have all their skills unlocked and then work on the 75 uses of each ability, casting them on the transit terminals. The bosses in this are a higher difficulty than you so be a bit more cautious.Īs a soldier you won't have any special abilities so you will need to create a new character as an Adept and one as an Engineer. Finishing this play will unlock Insane difficulty.Ĭontinue with your same character and the last two allies (if you followed so far it would be Tali and Wrex). Work on Renegade points during this play. Follow the ally guide for this although it is much easier now. I used Kaiden and Garrus during this play. Levels 51-60 will be unlocked so you can continue to progress. The enemies on this will be scaled up to your level making it slightly more difficult. You can start a new game and use an Existing ID to carry your character from play #1 over to this one. Once you finish the game on Normal, you will unlock Hardcore. If done correctly you will get Ashley at the same time as the " Completionist" achievement and Liara after completing Feros and Noveria, but before going to Virmire. Avoid all assignments until you have her and then continue to follow the Ally achievement description.
Follow the Ally achievement description to get Liara as soon as possible. During this first play, I would suggest getting the Asari (Liara) ally out of the way and using the Soldier (Ashley) to balance out your party since Liara is all Biotic. Make sure you exhaust all speech dialogue with him until you get it. There is only one missable entry, the Protheans, which you need to learn about from Captain Anderson just outside your ship. The first thing you want to do is work on the " Scholar" achievement inside the Citidal. When assigning your skill points, focus on armor, spectre and soldier to get all those increased quickly. It is highly suggested that you use a soldier class for the ability to wear heavy armor and the increased damage and health. If you just blaze through like I did, it can be relatively quick for you. If you do any of those, I guess you're looking at about double the time. As I mentioned my first play took 17 hours, but this was with me not liking the game much and just wanting to get through, not exploring any random planets, not doing any of the crazy searching missions to collect badges or minerals.
It took me 32 hours to get 1050 in this game, so I assumed that was normal. Note: I've received some feedback on my estimated time.
